What if my doctor and the insurance company’s doctor disagree?
If the insurance company doctor feels that you have fully or partially recovered
from your work injury, but your own doctor believes that you are still disabled
and unable to return to work, the insurance company may file a petition
to challenge your benefits. A Workers’ Compensation judge will hear
each doctor’s medical opinion and render a decision based on their
testimony. |
